It had a very intense plastic smell when first opened but once that subsided it was fine to use. There also seemed to be a black smudge in the Sil-a-gel formula which didn't effect the product, it just wasn't pretty to look at. I still had tons of fun and like the flexibility of it.

My only (hopefully constructive) critisism of the web site is that many products have descriptions that lack important details relating to material of the toys and their dimensions.
